What it does

Kadanoa is a Mac app for TV and radio journalists, podcasters and anyone who works with recorded interviews. Import an interview, let Kadanoa transcribe it, then pick the sentences you want right in the transcript. Kadanoa exports them for Adobe Premiere Pro, so the editor gets exactly the quotes you chose — as ready-to-edit clips.

How it works

  1. Import your interview video.
  2. Kadanoa transcribes the audio on your Mac.
  3. Select the parts you want directly in the transcript.
  4. Export an XML file and import it into Premiere Pro — your clips are ready.
Private by design. All transcription happens on your Mac. Your recordings and transcripts are never uploaded — not to me, not to anyone. The only thing Kadanoa downloads is a speech-recognition model, once, on first launch.
